Water filtration
Biological contamination, pipe wear or residual products cause water contamination. Presscon offers various solutions for effective water filtration for, among others, (natural) swimming pools, ponds, heating systems and breweries.
In any heating system, wear and tear occurs due to the continuous flow of water along the heating pipes. Small particles of iron, such as magnetite, contaminate the water as a result.
Contaminants in the heating water cause poor heat transfer, resulting in energy loss and wear. A partial flow filter or a partial flow filter unit is therefore essential in a modern heating or cooling system. With this we capture magnetite, which ends up in the water due to wear and tear of the heating pipes. The greenhouse heating system is thus better protected and the energy bill lower!
Water filtration against biological pollution
Biological contamination such as algae, legionella and blue algae can cause health risks, green deposits and a lot of maintenance and monitoring work for natural swimming pools and natural waters.
Instead of water filtration, the same effect can be achieved by adding oxygen to the water. This is an ideal solution for minimizing biological contamination in ponds and natural pools.
In addition, this solution can be used to supplement the chlorine pump in regular swimming pools. Presscon's Vital Oxidizer (a product resembling a venturi) supports the purification system already in place, so that less chlorine will need to be added to the pool water to purify it. Presscon, in cooperation with Proefstation BE, is still doing further research into this, but has good indications that this offers an effective solution against biological water pollution.
