Protection heating systems against oxidation
It is important to maintain the pH level of the water in your heating system. A pH that is too low will cause the iron in the heating pipes to deteriorate. A dosing pump with pH control protects against this and keeps the water continuously around the pH of 9.
Partial flow filter against heating system contamination
Loose iron particles (which have not yet started to rust) cause water contamination. Due to the continuous flow of water through the heating system, wear and tear on the pipes occurs, causing small iron particles to enter the water. This is called magnetite pollution. By means of a partial flow filter with a magnet, we capture the magnetite from the system.
In normal operation, this will be the main contamination to the heating system. However, during a renovation, there can be more serious contamination, such as soil and dredged material entering the heating system. In that case, we use a filter bag to catch the remaining contamination (from 25 to 0.5 microns).
The operation of an expansion system
As an important part of the heating system, it is obviously important to properly protect the buffer tank. Presscon uses in-house developed HPSA (High Performance Pressure Swing Absorption) nitrogen generators to preserve various water systems, such as heating and cooling systems. This means that the buffer tanks, the expansion vessels and the entire heating or cooling systems are protected against corrosion, oxidation, and/or explosion.
