The Presscon N-Gen is Presscon's nitrogen generator and the ultimate solution for on-site nitrogen generation. Nitrogen is used in industry on a large scale and in a wide range of sectors. In many sectors, people are increasingly making the switch to self-generation of nitrogen using a nitrogen generator, because it has many advantages. For example, you always have access to the amount of nitrogen needed, the right purity and, last but not least, the logistical advantage of no transport costs and no problems with cryogenic storage.

How does the Presscon N-Gen work?

Our Presscon N-Gen uses HP-PSA technology. This technology separates nitrogen and oxygen by binding the oxygen molecules to a carbon molecular sieve: the Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS). The main advantage of this technology, compared to membrane technology, is the fact that the amount of compressed air needed to achieve the same result can be up to 40% lower. The Presscon N-gen consists of multiple generators, so that it can be tailored to your needs. The modular design allows the N-Gen to switch on and off per desired/required capacity, based on pressure measurement or flow measurement. The Presscon products are custom made in our own development and production department in the Netherlands.
